My Little Man's FIRST Haircut...

I know a lot of you that read my blog have heard me say many times that I will never cut my sons hair.....Well, with the heat I felt like it was time to do it! I had mixed emotions not really sure if I was ready to see my babies curls go for good. With this 100 degree weather I was pulling his hair back in a pony-tail to keep him from being so hot! My husband was not a fan of the "dude due" (pony tail). But...once all done, he is as cute as ever and when we stepped outside he began running and shaking his head, and at that point I realized maybe I wasn't ready, but he sure was! He looks so cute, although he lost the baby look to him, my little man look more like a toddler....Boy, he holds his mommies heart with his little hands!

WOW! I had so much fun taking pictures of little Hailey! She has such a cute personality and such an adorable smile! Her mom asked me to do pictures of Hailey for Fathers Day! Eventhough it was hot/muggy she did a great job and so did mom!


She was on the run...but I was able to catch up to her.

Happy Father's Day...

What a wonderful Father's day! The kids and I took Brad to the park with some friends to enjoy the nice weather! As I watched the kids play with their daddy, I was so filled with joy. Brad is an excellent dad who loves his kids with his whole heart and loves his wife even more! We Love you Honey, and I am so blessed to share this wonderful family that God has given us!

My Little Hannah Growin' up Fast!

I asked Hannah what she wanted for her birthday and she told me she wanted her friend Anna to stay the night, go to dinner, and have a model shoot! I asked her to clarify (knowing what she meant) she said she wanted me to take her and her friend on a photo shoot in their pretty dresses......so that is what we did!! The girls had so much fun!

My First Photo Session...Caleb 10 Days Old...

I just love this little family! I met this couple at the hospital after they had their little baby. We got to talking and they asked me if I would do their sweet babies photos once they got home and settled....I couldn't resist! Caleb is so cute. I fell in love with his little head full of angel soft blonde hair! He sure was a looker at the hospital(all the nurses were talking about how cute he was). I was so thrilled to have met this family and even more excited to do Mr. Caleb's first pictures!!

Handsome Little Boy Growing up!

It is funny to look back at life sometimes!! Melissa and I have been friends for years. I still think of her every time the seasons change from Winter to Spring...This is when we had our most fun. We would have a lot of "fun girl time" together going to the lake for a day to soak up the rays, enjoying shopping around town, and most of all traveling as close as Missouri and as far as Cancun! We definitely had our fun and hilarious moments that will be cherished forever. Melissa is now married to a wonderful man that she dated for seven years and has a precious little boy that is growing up soooo fast. From time to time we will get him out and capture his milestones! He is so cute and full of life, it was funny to watch him as he is so very interested in the world around him....watch out Melissa, he will be on the run soon!! We look back at our single/fun days..and thought life could not get any better, BUT God knew what was ahead, and as we look at the lives we live now (enjoying our husbands and children), we just can't imagine how life could get any better!

Sweet Baby is on the Way...

My friend is getting ready to have a baby any day now! She is on her nineth month and with all the business chasing a preschooler and decorating a new house, she sqeezed in some time to come over so I could do her maturnity pictures! I was honored to do them, considering this was my first attempt at belly shots!! Thanks Renee for your time and can't wait to meet your "littlest baby boy"!

These Moments Make Me Stop Life...

Now that "my little baby" is getting bigger and older, He is not one to snuggle very much. He is the one that is too busy to stop, especially when I pull out my camera. So, this Saturday morning when he woke up, he snuggled in my arms for about 10 minutes! Although it went by fast, I sat and soaked up every second of it...

Little Reece...

What a cute little family! Reece's mom is a hair stylist on the side, and awesome at what she does! So, when she did my hair we made a swap.....she did my hair, and I would take pictures of her family!.....My hair turned out cute and so did her pictures!!

I had so much fun photographing Reece, she is so adorable and loved dressing up and cheezin' for the camera, her cute personality really came through! By the end of the shoot she was holding my hand and melting my heart!! Thanks, Stacie....I enjoyed you guys!!

A Wedding Shower...

A friend of mine that I work with is getting married! She is marrying a fella from Africa, they are planning on doing missions together in Africa once she finishes her nursing degree! One of the games we played was "dress the bride", the girls broke off into three teams and had to pick a model and dress her for her wedding day(with toilet paper) in 10 minutes!! They all worked really hard...I was amazed to see some of the detail that was created in such a short amount of time....
